Don Jose Mexican Buffet

Wow.... This place is for real! I had heard about Don Jose from a friend and it sounded interesting. We made the 2 hour round trip trek and I will definitely be going back again! There's about anything you can imagine on the buffet, and you can build things the way you want to. The building itself is a quaint little place, nothing fancy. It was clean from what I saw and I had no worries about eating there. The service was really good, the waitress nice and efficient, and an overall good experience. I'll definitely be making the trip again soon!

In Sedalia for a business trip. Drove past this Mexican restaurant buffet and had never eaten at one - or even seen a Mexican buffet for that matter. Nice, tidy restaurant with very friendly staff. Buffet had lots of offerings. A separate area for toppings, nachos, desserts and cream were also available. Food was flavorfull. Lots of options and very sweet waitress. 17.00 with drink included and satisfied with price point and how much food was available. Highly recommend this fine place.

i’ve never heard of a mexican buffet before, but this had great food with multiple delicious chicken and beef options on the buffet, a nacho bar, and ice cream as a nice dessert. it also had great service and our waitress was very nice and helpful. would definitely recommend

Lots of different options to choose from. You can make your own protein bowl or tacos. They even have dessert. Full menu is available if you don't want to order buffet. Parking lot is pretty small but they have tons of space inside. Service was awesome! Everyone was very friendly. Great prices! Will definitely come back again!

Authentic food, great service and good time! I live close by so my wallet is in trouble! Definitely a must try! Great choices and toppings bar, as much guac as you want!!! Yummy

This place is spectacular. JOJO is my favorite waitress. All of them are wonderful, I've just built more of a rapport with her. There's something for everyone on the buffet. If you don't see it on the buffet, you can also order from the menu, or they will cook to order to accommodate your taste. Whether you live in Sedalia, just passing through, or here for a visit, Don Jose is the best and ONLY Mexican Buffet in town. Just tell them Rich sent you, and they'll take good care of you (whether you mention my name or not). LOL Enjoy!

Never experienced a Mexican style buffet before. But I loved it!! Lots of food to choose from. All you can eat buffet. Self-serve chips and salsa. The toppings and salsa bar were my favorite. Your drink is included!! I paid 16.25 and was very happy with the price I paid. Service was good, and my soda was never empty. They also have a happy hour and serve alcohol. If the buffet isn't your thing, they also have a menu to order from. I'll be coming back and highly recommend for you to check this place out.

I took a few of my golf team members here after a long day. We were greeted by a friendly smile and incredible food. Our waitress was a sweetheart and took great care of us. We lucked into being there at happy hour and my peach margarita was 3 and was very good. Our favorite thing on the Buffett was the barria tacos and the salsa bar. Everything we had was awesome and the soft serve on the way out was perfect. 10/10 would recommend.
